Bilston Batterseas story begins in 1968, when the twentieth-century revival of English enamelling began in Bilston, with the forming of Copper Enamels (Bilston) Ltd., by the Marshall family. Two years later, the name was changed to Bilston & Battersea Enamels and an innovative venture with a London-based antiques dealer, designing boxes based on those made in Georgian times, promptly followed. Wonderful limited edition enamel box by Bilston & Battersea Enamels and designed by Halcyon Days in the 1970's. The Liberty Bell on the lid commemorates the bicentennial in 1776.
